The Crown Inn, Sarre
Brimming with tales from the Charge of the Light Brigade and visited by scores of glamorous stage and screen stars, The Crown is a Grade 1-listed 15th century building fully-restored to provide delightful bars and high quality accommodation.
Over the centuries the inn, which probably started as a coffee-house, has built an unrivalled reputation for warm and friendly hospitality.
Locally The Crown is known as The Cherry Brandy House and sells our famous Grants Morella Cherry Brandy - a favourite of Queen Victoria and mentioned in Charles Dickens 'Pickwick Papers'. Grants Morella Cherry Brandy continues to get many new admirers, in recent years we were delighted to have been granted a Royal Warrant by HRH The Prince of Wales and our bottles now proudly bears his crest.
